<p>The older I get, the more I value these types of articles. Lately I have been quite good at misplacing keys, remotes and shoes. I suspect that I&#8217;m not stimulating my brain enough so it&#8217;s time to kick start the little thing into gear!</p>
<p>What I like about this stumble is the detail it provides on the many foods that help your brain function. Alcohol is even included, clearly it&#8217;s a winner with me ;)</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today&#8217;s random <a href="/?p=437">stumble</a> is all about oatmeal.</p>
<p>I absolutely love oatmeal. My Nan used to make me the yummiest oatmeal ever. As a child I was fortunate enough to spend quite a few nights over each week at my grandparents house. Every morning I would wake to the smell of the oatmeal cooking and the sound of my Nan dutifully stirring it.<br />
I would jump out of bed and run to the kitchen. Nan would pick me up and put me on a high chair and serve me breakfast. The oatmeal looked creamy and beautiful. To that Nan would stir in cream, sugar and a dollop of butter. It was amazing! Also incredibly fattening but amazing!</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t add cream, sugar or butter these days but it is still my all time favorite breakfast. I really like honey as a substitute for sugar and will sometimes sprinkle some cinnamon just for added flavor.</p>

<p>You may or may not be surprised to know that I&#8217;m a pretty shy person. For me, social interaction can be quite challenging at times, not to mention frustrating.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m still a work in progress but the tips here are good and I use quite a few.  I believe that my shyness is all about a lack of confidence. In the work place I have no trouble at all dealing with and working alongside people, however when I am out and about in social settings I can really struggle. I&#8217;m certainly much better than I used to be but it&#8217;s something you have to acknowledge and continue to work on.</p>
<p>Although my shyness is not really debilitating, it can be embarrassing and the feeling of anxiousness is not a pleasant one.  So I&#8217;m really pleased to share the following stumble with you all.</p>
