Hi Kal and samiam

Thank you both for your well wishes, I am very happy to be back on board!

Kal, you are completely right about Vitamin K. My GP told me today to cut out my spinach! I am not too happy about it but not much I can do. No greens for a while, what a shame!

samiam, the pain was certainly interesting and something I do not wish to repeat!

Thanks for stopping by :-)

Glad you're feeling better! My mom has had a blood clot or two, and significant pain with them, but nothing to the extent of what you've described. Scary, indeed!

Glad to see you posting again, too!

How nice to read your post. So sorry about the clot. I have had them repeatedly for 22 years. I am assuming you have been/are taking coumadin? Take care with your veggies because it will affect your PT/PTT or INR (depending on where you are) reading pretty significantly. That said, I just take more coumadin knowing that I have high levels of vitamin K intake! Best luck on your speedy recovery!!!!
