Today’s Random Stumble caught my eye because I’ve always been fascinated by muscle.
It’s a nice article that lists 5 foods that are very good for your muscles and no, spinach is not mentioned ;)

Good article. It’s important to eat well in order to stave off the inevitable loss of muscle mass one will face over the age of 50. That said, it’s equally important to incorporate some strength training into one’s life, 2-3 days per week, to enable those foods (and others) to protect that muscle mass. Muscles fed but left unused, will still atrophy.
RE: Antioxidants. Though this does not relate (directly) to muscle mass lost, the number one food stuff in the world’s pantry containing antioxidants? Coffee. This according to 3 separate studies I am familiar with, the most notable being from The University Of Scranton.
