This week saw the sad passing and funeral of Jane McGrath, a breast cancer awareness campaigner, mother and wife. The Foundation Jane and her husband Greg established some years ago has had one of it’s most successful weeks of fundraising with over $500,000 donated by the Australia Public. This week iHealth posted two videos called The PhotoShop Effect. It gives some insight into the media industry and their practice of retouching images. The Beautiful Women Project is working towards educating women on the importance of loving themselves and their bodies and not trying to be like the models and personalities in our media, who in the majority of cases have had their images retouched.
