Interval Training

Posts on interval training are one of the most popular on the iHealth website.
We have put all of our most popular posts on this subject under one heading (Interval Training) for easier access and have listed the individual posts here for your reference.
Interval training are repetitions at high-intensity followed by periods of rest or low activity.
As a matter of fact, Ann, one of our regular contributors mentioned last night at dinner that she has achieved great results at the gym due to interval training.
Ann did note however that most of the information on the web is somewhat unrealistic for someone who is just starting out. At the moment Ann is doing approximately 4 minutes walking on the treadmill followed by 1 minute of running. Over time Ann will improve on these times but I think it is sound advice and one you should aim for before trying anything more strenuous.
