In Part 2 of The Photoshop Effect, diet.com investigates the ethics behind retouching photos and what fashion magazines can do to help bring awareness about the prolific use of photo retouch.

It has been suggested that retouching in the publishing industry face bans, personally I agree with the host who thinks that disclaimers on the photo’s might be a positive step. If young and older women are aware that what they are looking it is in fact not real then perhaps it will have less of a negative impact on how they view themselves.
