traineo.com is a free website that gives you the motivation and support to reach your weight loss and fitness goals.

Registration was very easy largely due to a simple and clean design. You are guided through the setup and prompted to establish your current details including age, sex, weight, height and other particulars.

You can start entering information from this point on that will help to you meet your goals. There are several options on your personal home-page that allow you to begin plotting your diet and fitness. The way the site has been designed is really smart in so much as it calculates certain activities.
For instance, by clicking on My Workout, I can select any type of activity I have done for the day (eg. walking), it asks how long you walked, how difficult it was and will calculate roughly how many calories you burnt up doing that particular activity. It is then recorded your training chart.

By selecting the My Diet tab you can rate your diet for day (poor through to great) and enter in your daily calorie intake. You will have to know this information before-hand. You are given a daily diet score which if low, will hopefully kick you back into the right frame of mind to meet your goals!

Other options include adding in your new weight information and creating your own custom logs for additional tracking.

As the site is all about motivation, you can invite friends, family or colleagues to help you through.

You can invite motivators by simply entering their name and email address (I chose my partner). An email is then sent to your requested motivator informing them that I’ve requested they help me on the path to better fitness.
Again, registration for your invited motivator is really easy. They are given a link which sends them to a registration page which has already added their name and prompts them to create a password.
Once registered, they can begin their role as a motivator. They can send you messages and can see graphs of how you are progressing including your weight and diet information. Pretty cool. Emails are also sent with the latest details of your progress.

Users can join groups and participate in forums adding to the community aspects of the site.

All in all, a very simple and well thought out website that should be very useful to people looking for help in setting goals.
