Childhood obesity

A new federal report from the US has warned that not enough is being done to combat childhood obesity, which is now considered to be an epidemic. Read story
The report states that even though there are many progrommes to fight it, their effectiveness is still not clear. Rates of childhood obesity in the US are rising at an alarming rate. One-third of American children are obese or at risk of becoming obese and face long term health issues including diabetes, heart disease, stoke, certain forms of cancers plus many more.
